We’re back at our favorite urban chic Ellicott City wedding venue: Main Street Ballroom. This time Briana and Arianit asked me to photograph their Main Street Ballroom wedding as their Maryland wedding photographer. And of course, I loved it! This venue is perfect for a party, and we definitely made the most of it with this couple.

Main Street Ballroom is right downtown in the Ellicott City Historic District, and you might remember its contemporary vibes from our last post. This venue is a local favorite, in part because of their amazing care of their couples and guests. They really intuit how to support each couple as they plan their event. 

One thing I really appreciate is Main Street Ballroom partners with local preferred vendors. Having preferred vendors can be a lifesaver for a bride and groom, because you know you’ll get amazing, local care that flows through the venue without any extra coordination stress (and sometimes, you get a great discount on the services). 

Preferred Vendors at Main Street Ballroom

Three preferred caterers take the list at Main Street Ballroom: Simply Fresh Events, Lib’s Catering, and Eleven Courses Catering. For alcohol, The Wine Bin is the preferred vendor, and you can get special pricing and free delivery on a custom cocktail for your event—Arianit and Briana picked a classy espresso martini for their celebration. 

Thoroughbred vans are the preferred vendor for your transportation. On a personal note, I would recommend investing in hired transportation for this Ellicott City wedding venue. Limited parking spots are available downtown and it’s tricky to find the address. But of course, the venue knows that and that’s why they arranged a 25% discount with this vendor.

We had so much fun at Briana and Arianit’s wedding. After a lovely ceremony, the Ballroom’s classic twinkle lights lit up the reception. Between the photo booth, the DJ, and the glow sticks it seemed like everyone was having a blast celebrating the love this couple brings! And peek a bit at that dessert table: mini-pies and cannoli were a delicious choice. Thanks so much to Briana and Arianit for letting me share in your special day.
