The Riggs Hotel DC is built inside the historic Riggs Bank, which was originally constructed around the turn of the century. Now, the bank’s white marble and art deco features combine with colorful upgrades to create cutting-edge spaces.

The hotel is located right in the middle of downtown, across the street from the National Portrait Gallery. Because it’s just a block away from the most famous historical icons of DC, the Riggs Hotel’s centralized location makes it an easy spot to meet guests from anywhere.

What impressed me most about the Riggs Hotel DC was the modern luxury of the venue. For example, the wood floors and contemporary, clean décor made it the perfect “blank slate” for wedding florals, like these ones Danielle and Alex used!

And the guests loved getting a bit of fresh air during cocktails. As the sun set, the city vista from the rooftop terrace was exquisite!
