Graceful and elegant, the Baltimore Museum of Art is a key venue downtown, and Baltimore wedding photographers love to shoot here! Fox Court has the ceremony location of your dreams. I was so excited to be able to attend with Haylee and Jack at their sophisticated–and romantic–wedding.

Location of Baltimore Museum of Art

First, where is the Baltimore Museum of Art? The Museum is on Charles Street right across from the John Hopkins University. If you’ve got family flying in, it’s 22 minutes straight north of the airport. Being downtown, it’s not far from Baltimore’s best eats—and it’s not too far of a drive if you decide to split locations between ceremony and reception.

Options for a Baltimore Museum of Art Wedding

Next, if the Baltimore Museum of Art is your venue, you can expect to be paired with an experienced wedding coordinator, and couples are raving over the quality of service they provide. There is a brief list of approved caterers and preferred vendors to help you get the best professionals available for your special event.

It’s absolutely an option to keep some of the galleries open for your wedding guests during cocktail hour. This can be a special way to help your guests pass the time before the reception and the collections are stunning. Remember that due to the Museum’s high priority on preserving their space and collections, there are strict event rules, so a wedding rehearsal should be paramount.

Unique Ceremony Locations for Baltimore Museum of Art Wedding

Fox Court is the star of the BMA’s venues. Hosting 180 guests for dinner and dancing, this neoclassical room is sure to match your highest expectations. White marble, tall columns, and incredible lighting add elegance to this space.

But there are two other options for your museum wedding. Antioch Court is an adjoining venue with floor-to-ceiling arched windows that draw in that natural light. It can be paired with Fox Court to host 500 guests for cocktail hour. Finally, Gertrude’s Restaurant includes a dining room and outdoor space. Incredible lush gardens can set the stage for your ceremony. Every venue option is breathtaking.

Your Wedding Portraits

Portraits in the Baltimore Museum of Art wedding are sure to make your jaw drop! Cut stone, intricate detail work, and so much art. This venue is perfect for your black tie event. Columns, marble, and soft lighting add so much passion to your photos. The art installations are full of history, and they provide gorgeous backdrops you can’t get anywhere else.

Having a refined venue like this one is a no-brainer for so many couples. It’s time to book for your Baltimore Museum of Art wedding! Drop a line here so I can join you as one of your Baltimore wedding photographers on this very important day.
