This couple is so laid back and fun! We adventured across the city to capture their wedding portraits in front of some of the most captivating monuments in our nation’s capital.

Washington D.C. Wedding Venue

Alyssa and Ramin got married at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center located in the heart of downtown Washington D.C. This wedding venue is sophisticated, historic and grand. A perfect fit for a bride who is planning a luxe and elevated wedding.

Alyssa’s vision for her winter wedding was breath taking. She adorned the ceremony and reception space with deep greens, silky textures and wintery white roses. The soft glow of candles and twinkling lights, surrounded by vining greenery felt romantic and fit for a fairytale.

First Look at the War Memorial

Alyssa and Ramin chose to do their first look at the War Memorial in Washington D.C. It was a sweet and intimate moment that really set the tone for their wedding day. Ramin’s face lit up the second he saw his bride! Alyssa looking beautiful in her v neck wedding gown with gorgeous button detail and a stunning open back. Her long veil and fur wrap complimented her look beautifully as a winter bride.

I love when couples choose to do a first look together. Your wedding day can rush by in such a blur. Taking every opportunity to step away with your spouse and soak in the moment is so important. The War Memorial was such a beautiful and secluded spot to commemorate this monumental milestone in Alyssa and Ramin’s relationship.
