My shooting style prioritizes moments over perfection. I balance blending into the background + getting in the mix depending on the situation to get the right mix of candid and posed photos. My focus is making sure we document your day without making it feel like a movie production. 

My photos are often described as moody and velvety. When editing I match the vibe of each couple’s story/vision so that it’s truly a personal experience. Overall my photos are vibrant, edgy & full of emotion. 

Absolutely! I’m skilled in many lighting techniques and I use a combination of natural lighting + flash photography as needed. Please note that each lighting situation is unique, resulting in a variety of looks within the same event. 

Every image you’ll receive is edited for correct composition, exposure and color to match my editing style. I’ll commonly remove small blemishes or other distractions within an image as I see fit. Advanced editing/retouching may be requested for an additional fee. Examples include adding or removing people/large objects from a photo, modifications to a person’s body, etc. 
I do not deliver unedited or raw images.

YES! More so than documenting this incredibly special time in your life, consider the engagement photos to be a practice run for the wedding. Most people don't have professional photos taken every day (your iPhone selfies don't count), and you don't want your wedding day to be the first time you're in front of the camera. Why? Because honestly, most people freeze in front of a professional camera and it takes time to get comfortable with having your photo taken, even with a documentary approach. The wedding day usually has such a small window for portrait photos and we don't want to take up that time getting to know each other and figuring out your favorite side. By your wedding day I want you to feel confident and relaxed because you've already been in front of my camera before! Also, my engagement sessions are super fun and a great excuse for a date night!

Upon booking you will receive a style guide along with many tips and tricks to help you prepare for your session! I'll also help you pick a great location and guide you along so you know what to expect.

Each wedding gallery is curated to tell a story through the best images of your day. This process takes approximately 12 business weeks. Prior to that you’ll receive a preview gallery with some sneak peeks from your day! Engagement galleries are generally ready in about 5 weeks.

Yes please! Just make sure to have a leash for your pup when we’re not shooting, and bring treats! If you don't want them in every photo, I recommend bringing a friend along with you to help.

Absolutely! I have professional grade backups of all of my main gear including camera bodies, lenses, flashes, batteries, memory cards, etc.

You betcha! If your venue is requesting it let me know and I'll send you over a copy of my policy.
