Have you been to Old Westminster Winery? This winery is super popular among Baltimore wedding photographers, and for good reason. Not only are the structures here simple and elegant for photos, but the acreage is full of flowers and mature trees that make for a stunning engagement session.
50,000 grapevines grow on the family-owned acres here at Westminster Winery. It’s southwest of Westminster, about a 50 minute drive from Baltimore. This is a great spot for a small celebration or a night out with friends, and it’s got an amazing view.
Reserve an intimate cabana for your party at Westminster Winery. Each cabana is a little different, but expect natural woods, white partitions and modern lighting—including adorable string lights! Simple and elegant, it’s a great spot for portraits like these. There’s also a pavilion and a tent available for reservation if you need a place to host an engagement dinner.
Vibrant and meticulously maintained, the vineyards are the perfect spot for a picnic. The vines create a lovely textured backdrop. And, if you’re up to it, some aerial shots are to die for out here! I love the symmetry of all the rows. Can’t you imagine these on a wedding announcement?
If you prefer more florals in your photos, there are gardens and boardwalks around the pavilion that we can snag for a pose.
Of course, we couldn’t finish our shoot without a little wine and charcuterie! Wine glasses are a great prop for engagement or wedding photos. A full glass looks classy and lets everybody know that you’re celebrating. A toast will show off your shiny new ring!
Everybody in Baltimore loves the wood-fired pizza at Westminster, so why not enjoy your time together? Worried about looking stuffy during your session? Some food on the table is going to help y’all relax and look natural! I loved working with this couple because they were just super fun and embraced having a good time together. It shows so much in each photo!
I’m so glad I could be a part of their engagement session here at Old Westminster Winery. And don’t forget to buy a Bordeaux or two for anniversaries to come! When you’re ready to book your Baltimore wedding photographer, drop me a line.
