Near Annapolis, Maryland and just minutes from downtown, you can celebrate your love on the banks of the South River. Historic Londontown Gardens is a premier waterfront wedding venue that will host both your ceremony and reception. With ten acres of pristine gardens, a waterfront pavilion, a nearby historic tour, and of course endless waterfront views. This Maryland wedding venue is ideal for so many couples!

Londontown Gardens offers more than just a perfect location, but also so many spaces to make your wedding day comfortable. From suites, draped tents, indoor options and more! You are sure to be impressed with the many options for your Maryland wedding!
The Camellia Suite
Start your special day in our tranquil and elegant dressing suite. This comfortable, climate-controlled space is perfect for you and your wedding party. Use it to touch up hair and makeup, capture a few photos, and unwind before the ceremony. Equipped with dress hooks, a full-length mirror, and ample seating. The suite provides everything you need to gather your thoughts and prepare for your walk down the aisle.
The Bluff
Exchange your vows on one of our two picturesque lawns with breathtaking views of the South River. Opt for the East Lawn, known as “The Bluff,” for a private ceremony space separate from your cocktail hour and reception. On this lawn, you can choose to face the sparkling water or add a touch of history by positioning your guests to face the historic William Brown House. Either way, you’ll enjoy stunning water views and a memorable backdrop for your special day.
Ornamental Gardens
The West Lawn makes a versatile ceremony space for your Londowntown Gardens Wedding. Opt for the elevated river deck as an alter setting to have a backdrop of the South River framed by native trees. Or another beautiful option is to have your guests face the gardens for a lush backdrop of greenery and blooms. The choice is yours!
Canopy-Draped Tent
An elegant 40 x 60 canopy draped tent provides the ideal setting for your wedding reception. With a stunning statement chandelier, twinkle rope lighting and breathtaking water views, the tent will set the stage for a romantic and unforgettable celebration. In the case of rain, the tent comes with 10ft clear sides that can be closed to keep the elements out without sacrificing the stunning views of the South River. The tent comfortably accommodates up to 160 guests, with the option to rent additional tenting to increase the capacity to 200.
Cocktail Hour On The Lawn
A common choice for cocktail hour is to celebrate on one of the venues many lawns. Lush and breathtaking gardens will surround your guests as they mingle and enjoy your celebration. In addition, you can bring lawn games to entertain and hang twinkle lights for a playful and whimsical vibe.

Here are some frequently asked questions from couples just like you to get you started in your discovery of Londontown Gardens.
What is the capacity?
The venue comfortably accommodates up to 200 guests with their existing amenities. If you’d like to extend capacity to 240, you can work with a rental company to add an extension tent.
Where can we take photos on the property?
You are welcome and encouraged to take photos on the pier, throughout the gardens, and around the William Brown House and historic complex. However, you will not have access to the inside of the William Brown House or the historic buildings as those are museums.
Can my pet be at my wedding?
London Gardens are a pet friendly venue and highly encourage their couples to include their pets. They even have recommended vendors that will assist with wedding day pet care!
Do they hold dates?
No, they do not hold dates. Once you receive a contract from them, a signed copy must be returned along with the security deposit of $500 and the first 50% payment within five business days.
