There’s something undeniably magical about a George Peabody Library Maryland wedding. From the soaring six-story stacks to the soft glow of the antique lights, it feels like stepping into a romantic fairytale set in the heart of Baltimore. On this particular wedding day, the charm started well before we arrived at the library. Ana and Adam got ready at the chic and stylish Hotel Revival, which set the perfect tone for the rest of their celebration. Every detail of the day was filled with elegance, emotion, and just the right amount of modern flair.

Tucked away in Mount Vernon, Hotel Revival is a gem of a spot for wedding day prep. The rooms are flooded with natural light (a dream for photography!), and the interiors offer a perfect mix of contemporary design and classic Baltimore character. The couple had separate suites, each filled with laughter, a few happy tears, and the buzz of excitement as they prepared to see each other for the first time. I especially love the way the bold wallpaper and vintage mirrors added depth and texture to the portraits. In addition, the courtyard out front made for a serene moment before we headed to the ceremony. Just the two of them, with the lush gardens in the background.

The George Peabody Library Maryland is nothing short of breathtaking. Known as one of the most beautiful libraries in the world, it’s easy to see why so many couples are drawn to its grand architecture and intimate ambiance. The ceremony took place beneath the soaring atrium, surrounded by walls of books that felt both timeless and deeply romantic. As the sun dipped lower, the ambient lighting gave the space a warm, golden glow. Absolutely perfect for moody, elegant portraits and a candlelit dinner. It’s the kind of venue that doesn’t need much decor because the space itself tells such a strong visual story. And as a Baltimore wedding photographer, I feel confident when I say it is my favorite in the city!

I have worked with many couples who use both the Hotel Revival and Gearoge Peabody Library for the wedding day, and there is good reason to that. Hotel Revival and the George Peabody Library complement each other in the most seamless way. Hotel Revival brings in that modern, art-forward energy, while the library offers historical grandeur and dramatic architecture. As a Baltimore wedding photographer, I truly love when couples choose these two spots. They’re both stunning on their own, but together, they create a day that flows naturally from beginning to end. From clean, editorial-style getting ready portraits to rich, atmospheric ceremony shots, the visual storytelling is cohesive and elevated. In addition, they are pretty close to each other, making travel a breeze!

This George Peabody Library Maryland wedding was the perfect blend of modern elegance and timeless romance. From the stylish energy of Hotel Revival to the iconic grandeur of the library, every moment felt intentional and beautifully connected. As a photographer, these are the kinds of days I live for! Where the love is palpable, the spaces inspire, and the images tell a story that’s deeply personal and visually stunning.
