The more I snuggle my baby as a new mom, the more excited I am about newborn photos! I have been photographing newborn photos for years in Ellicott City, both in-home and in-studio. And typically I like to show off the comfort of in-home sessions as it is a newer trend that I personally love! However, today I want to share more about my Baltimore Newborn Photographer studio and what you can expect there!
The Ellicott Cottage
My little studio is what I consider to be a creative escape full of character and charm! I love historic homes and old design, after all, it is something that makes this part of the country uniquely beautiful. So, in true Britt fashion I chose a cute stone cottage built in the 1800s for my Baltimore Newborn photographer studio.
This cottage is a dream as it has been so well preserved! We have the original wood floors, stone details and the perfect natural light! In addition we added earth tones coupled with modern industrial furnishings. Not to mention, the views of Historic Ellicott City!! These views are what I first fell in love with while touring this property. I love this city, so getting to build my business and become part of the vendors’ community here has been an honor!
Location & Site
The location of my cottage is downtown, being just a 2-minute walk from Main Street Ballroom! It is a quiet part of town, especially in the morning hours, which is perfect for newborn photography!
The site itself has 800 square feet of space to work with an includes a living room, second floor bedroom, full kitchen, changing area, bathroom and more! Each space has been mindfully planned out, and a lot of details to accommodate my clients. For example, we have a fully stocked coffee station and a newborn changing station for your convenience and comfort! In addition we provide wifi and a bluetooth speaker.
