Everything about Jasmin and Brett’s wedding was a dream! I loved the moody gem tones, their thoughtful details and their choice of the Revival for the morning of! However, today I want to focus on their reception at the Accelerator Space Baltimore. This event venue in Baltimore seamlessly blends industrial charm with modern amenities. Housed in a historic 105-year-old building, this venue is a unique find and will leave you in awe!

Location

Conveniently located on Benninghaus Road in Baltimore, the Accelerator Space is easily accessible from various parts of the city. Its central location ensures that your guests can arrive with ease, whether they’re local or traveling from out of town.​ In addition, it is close enough to the Revival that you can can take part in both venues on your wedding day, like many of my couples do!

Accelerator Space Baltimore Aesthetic

The venue’s rich history is evident in its industrial design elements. These have been thoughtfully preserved to maintain the building’s original character and tell its story. Exposed brick walls, high ceilings, and large windows create an open and inviting atmosphere. While modern touches ensure comfort and functionality for any event.​ This Baltimore wedding venue really is such a great balance between industrial styles and modern warmth.

Versatile Event Spaces

The Accelerator Space Baltimore offers multiple areas that will suit whatever your wedding day needs are! There are three main spaces to use, depending on your party size as well as how you want your wedding day to flow throughout the venue.

The Main Event Room is perfect if you are having a larger wedding, and offers flexibility in its layout. You can use this space for both ceremonies and receptions, and accommodates to 275 people for a seated dinner. The space is 5,000 square feet and is lined on either side with large frame windows.

For more intimate gathers, I would suggest their smaller indoor room, the Den. This room is just 1,500 square feet, accommodating 80 guests for a seated dinner and up to 150 guests for cocktails. This room can also be used for your ceremony with up to 170 guests.

This may be my favorite of the event rooms at The Accelerator Space Baltimore! The Rooftop Patio makes you feel like you are on top of the world! Not to mention, it is so romantic for bridal portraits. This is the smallest space they offer with just 1,200 square feet of space. However, you can still have a seated dinner on the Patio with up to 65 guests, or a cocktail party with up to 125 people. In addition, you may also use the space for a ceremony with 110 seated guests. So, if you are planning a more intimate gathering, the Patio is perfect!

Amenities and Services

To ensure a seamless event experience, Accelerator Space provides a range of amenities. To start, the basic rental is for a 10 hour period. This does include set up and take down time. In addition to the 10 hours, you will be able to use their furniture which includes 190 natural wood folding chairs, twenty four 60” round tables, one 72” round table, four 48” round tables, six 8’ rectangular tables, and four custom reclaimed wood tables on casters. As well as full access to their getting ready room, and access to an on-site representative.

As far as vendors go, the venue prefers clients to work with a caterer that is pre-approved to cater events in their space. Other than that, you can bring in any outside vendors for your florals, photography, and so on. They do provide a list of recommended vendors that you can request here!

The Accelerator Space Baltimore offers a versatile backdrop that can be tailored to your wedding vision perfectly! The combination of historic charm and modern amenities makes it a standout choice, and one I totally recommend!
